Bicycle Mechanic & Retail Training Program
We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our latest initiative, the Bicycle Mechanic and Retail Training (BMRT) program!
BMRT is designed to equip individuals facing barriers to work with the necessary skills to secure well-paying jobs. This comprehensive program offers training in consumer retail, bicycle mechanics, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Graduates of the BMRT program will be equipped with the knowledge and transferrable skills needed to start and manage their own small business.
We are thrilled to introduce our inaugural class of the Bicycle Mechanic and Retail Training Program this summer! For more information about the program and to receive updates, please click here.
Our Free Mobile Repair Clinics operate at shelters, schools, libraries, and service organizations, providing easy access to those who rely on their bikes daily.

Current partner locations include Recovery Cafe, WeHOPE, Dignity on Wheels and Martha's Kitchen.
Through our Earn-A-Bike program, participants like Jenny, pictured, volunteer for 6 hours in the community and receive a free bike.

2022 Small Business Operations Training is in Session!
This January we were ecstatic to launch, in partnership with Santa Clara County, our 2022 paid small business operations training, designed to teach principles of management while providing in-shop, hands-on experience to qualify trainees for living wage jobs across numerous industries.

Our 2020 pilot yielded numerous successes including our own hiring of Michael, a veteran and student who excelled and earned a permanent mechanic position in our bike shop!

Our 2022 cohort is a dedicated and enthusiastic group that we know will leverage their new skills to the fullest.
Will you help ensure the long-term sustainability of this
transformative program?
